Helping Others

Spirit! It doesn’t satisfy me to help people in this way. I’d like my sponsees to be helped.

Good evening child. It is our will that you help, but by modeling first. And then by teaching what is helping you. You are helped by conscious contact FIRST, and stepwork second! Our connection informs your recovery; IS your recovery. Fellows who want to figure their recovery out without conscious contact will not get your message. Their recovery is not by our definition RECOVERY. It is just another facet of self-reliance. No stepwork necessary. ♡

But it seems like I struggle with self-reliance too. I am often trying to do recovery without conscious contact. How am I different?

This. This is different. A dialogue with us changes everything. No longer are your ideas limited to old plans and expectations. We can turn your ideas on their heads, one at a time. Day after day, slowly but surely, this connection is radically doing what is IMPOSSIBLE without us. And no amount of stepwork or explanation or philosophy can replace this. ♡

So what do you want me to do with my sponsees?

Encourage stepwork AFTER conscious contact. Do not let them put you or their stepwork before our connection. This has been the missing piece. If someone does not see the need to ask for our help NOW, they do not have enough of a parallel for you to guide them. It is that simple. ♡

So you’re saying, I can only sponsor someone if they have conscious contact ?

Yes. This is your cut off. They ask their higher power for help, or they are not READY to learn the steps as you use them. ♡

But what about raising the bottom? Can I make it more accessible somehow?

You are doing this by existing. By connecting with us. You raise the bottom energetically more than any other way. This is why your calls still feel helpful. You are helping. The steps are just a distracting goal with those who are not ready. Help them to know we exist. And if they are sincerely looking for us, then you can help. Otherwise wait. ♡
